Bio

Growing up in a large family, I was surrounded by music from the very beginning. The sounds in our home moved effortlessly from Bach to Queen, and everything in between. In the 80s, my musical path “derailed” in the best possible way: I fell headfirst into heavy guitar rock and noise, a fascination that carried well into the 90s and beyond. During that time, I picked up the guitar and later discovered African percussion, performing occasionally in an ensemble while studying.

Alongside playing, I worked as a music journalist for the alternative magazine Opscene, reviewing albums and concerts and interviewing many bands — including some of my heroes.

In the 00s, rhythm took over completely. I switched to drums and joined Sooner, a rock cover band playing everything from classic rock to heavier material. We performed in and around Amsterdam until the band eventually dissolved — partly because I became a father again. Even then, music never left; I kept practicing drums and exploring new sounds.

During the corona period, my curiosity shifted toward melody and harmony. I began learning piano, which opened the door to something bigger: music production. I became fascinated not only by songwriting but also by the technical craft behind it. To bring my music to the stage, I also learned the essentials of DJing.

Today, my focus is creating electronic music built on intriguing rhythms, balancing darkness and light — songs that are disturbing and comforting at the same time.
